MADE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
We make products for Days Off spent outdoors. The places we spend them
are worth looking after.
At Layday, we’re committed to doing better for the planet. From using responsibly sourced materials to reducing waste in our
packaging, we make conscious choices at every step of the process. It’s all about creating quality pieces you’ll love for years to come, while protecting the coastal places we love to explore.
MATERIALS MAKING IMPACT
COTTON
We use pure cotton for all our towels, prioritising natural fibres that are soft, breathable, and biodegradable. Unlike polyester and synthetic fibres made from petrochemicals, cotton is a superior alternative that supports sustainability and reduces microplastic pollution.
RECYCLED PET
A selection of our Coast Umbrellas are crafted using recycled PET, transforming discarded plastic into durable, high-quality fabric. This process reduces waste and conserves resources, giving new life to materials that would otherwise end up in landfills.
SOY WAX
Our candles are made from soy wax, a natural material derived from soybeans. Renewable and biodegradable, soy wax burns cleaner and lasts longer than traditional paraffin wax, making it a more sustainable choice.
CORNSTARCH
Our biodegradable mailer bags and garment bags are made from cornstarch, offering an eco-friendly alternative to plastic. They breakdown naturally, leaving no trace behind.
FSC CERTIFIED TIMBER
The poles for our umbrellas are made from FSC-certified timber, sourced responsibly to support sustainable forestry practices and protect ecosystems.
DYES
Our suppliers adhere to OEKOTEX100 standards, ensuring all hand-dyeing processes are done responsibly. This guarantees no harmful chemicals are used, protecting both people and planet.
